What a start! The weather forecast showed no rain, but the dark clouds were looming in. We set off bright and early at 8am. and we're lucky today that the Melbourne weather didn't decide to be pour on us.
As we arrived at the beach, we took a leisurely stroll down the sandy shore, enjoying the sound of crashing waves and the smell of salt in the air. It was the perfect backdrop for our shoot. Red Bluff Cliffs offers such a beautiful out of the world scenery and the view from the top was absolutely breathtaking.
One of the highlights of the day was finally meeting model, Holly Mackenna. We have been following her on Instagram for years, admiring her stunning photos and infectious smile. And now, here she was, in the flesh, ready to work her magic in front of our lenses. Absolutely one of the most professional models I have worked with. With every click she offered hundreds of poses! Absolutely a dream to work with!
Holly was a natural in front of the camera, effortlessly striking poses and exuding confidence. And her mom Sam was offered great insights, creative input and assistance to the shoot, which is always awesome to have a third person! Usually I'm scrambling around :))
Despite the unpredictable weather, today turned out to be a day to remember. The beach, the rock formations, and Holly all came together to create a visual feast for the eyes. It was a reminder that sometimes, the best moments happen when things don't go according to plan.
